Changes since 2.0-rc1:

#2463727: Language cookie can poison module implementation cache, breaking hooks for other modules
#2462895: Variable mismatch on settings page

The first issue is critical, so all 1.x users are recommended to upgrade to 1.8 or above and 2.x users are recommended to upgrade to 2.0-rc2 or above.
