Pixel Sweatshop was created in 2008 in Victoria, British Columbia Canada. It quickly established a proven track record successfully working in NGO, government and public sector environments developing and implementing mission-critical web applications. Our diverse team gives us a broad expertise in modern information architecture which allows us to manage multi-faceted projects and achieved outcomes under constrained timelines.

At Pixelsweatshop, we focus entirely on website design and scalable, high-performance Drupal development. We have strong committment and a deep history of supporting open source technology.

Our development team has built a wide range of applications for small to large, multi-national organizations. Some of those applications include: client relationship management (CRM) systems, commerce applications, donor/fundraising applications, learning management systems (LMS), staff/client intranets, social collaboration software, document/file management applications, event management systems, geo-spatial tools and project management applications

We are most proud of our Code for Change program. It is a unique in-kind donation program created to support select charitable organizations. Every year, we set aside 10% of our profits to put towards the Code for Change program. As part of the program, we will match organizations dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum of $10,000 of in-kind support to help broaden their reach through web, social and print media. The goals of the program are to help charities: increase accessibility to available services for marginalized individuals; increase the capacity for organizations to operate effectively using online communication; and lower organizational core operating costs. Now in it's fourth year, the Code for Change program has donated over $250,000 of in-kind support to charities, non-profits and community programs in Canada and around the world.
