Question: Does the ctools dependency persist in the D8 version? Looks like work ongoing on on remaining ctools, but I am having a hard time gauging what the status is vis a vis Webform.

DanChadwick CreditAttribution: DanChadwick commentedNo clue. I'm not involved (yet) in the D8 port. Components will be migrated to plug-ins. I'm not sure what else in ctools we are using.

fenstrat@geste Lots of fixed, but still very early days in the port. Help very much appreciated!
Re ctools, pretty sure it's only required by webform because we require views. Views will still be a requirement in D8, but even less of an issue as it is in core.
