Hi,
Help please.
I am a newcomer to Drupal.

I wanted to add the popup to my site (Drupal 7.33) and downloaded popup ver 7.x-1.3.zip

I ran the install procedure from my Drupal admin page and it seemed to run and it added popup to the list of modules.
However, it appears to be disabled.
I have tried ticking it to enable it, but when I go back to the modules list is appears as disabled again.
I have run Cron (I think anyway, it is on a link) to enable it, but Cron reports nothing to update.
There seems to be no way of deleting it from the module admin page.
There is no config icon next to it in the modules list.

The files for popup appear in the site files list under public_html, sites, all, modules, popup_announcement.
I cannot see a table in the SQL database for popup, should there be one.

I could delete it from the site files, but I assume that I should delete some Drupal config entry as well. I don't know where though.

The site appears to be working normally.

Did you check the error log, if anything came up?

Thanks for the suggestion:

I have a number of these entries:

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in drupal_http_request() (line 984 of /home/sites/shrewsburygreenguide.org.uk/public_html/includes/common.inc).

Sorry .. no clue. I don't think that error message is related.

If there are no database tables for the module, you can just delete the module files.

Hi
Thanks for your comment.

Just want to be sure being a newby that there are no likely config entries etc.

Also any ideas why it might have failed?

No clue. Maybe not enough php memory, but that's a stab in the dark.
