Hello,

I'm looking for solution, for my small company, to manage my warehouse and customer relations along with invoicing. I'm renting out services and stuff, so it should also have a calendar to link to. I'm not going to sell over internet but should be able to print packaging slips, invoices and so on.
I've looked distributions like Erpal or Open Atrium, but don't know where to start. Is it manageable in drupal? I'm kind of new to Drupal but would like to know more. I'm interested in Drupal in general, so I would like to use it as a base for my app, and learn about it in the process.

I'd be thankful for any assistance,

Mikko

In my experience Drupal can do practically anything you want it to, but you'll have to put some work into it. Are you or do you have a developer comfortable with working with APIs in PHP?
You'll almost certainly end up either writing one or more modules, or at least extending some existing ones, to do what you seem to want.

As for using distributions - I've found they're great for getting ideas, but I've always regretted using a distribution (or "Profile") for production code. You end up with a bunch of stuff you don't need, that's hard to remove. Plus they're a little harder to keep up to date.

Your project sounds ambitious, perhaps more than you're prepared to take on if your chief business isn't software development...? That said, post again - and good luck.
