Hi all,
I have been trying to get my ckeditor toolbar right for two weeks (I have low vision so things take me a while!!) but after about 1000 you tube videos and drupal.org documentation, Im on the verge of giving up!

So, using ckeditor. Toolbar looks great. When editing content in filtered html, a 'browse server' button appears next to the URL so im able to choose my picture. However, when i select full html, the image toolbar icon can be accessed, but theres no browse server button to use in accessing images.

Ive done all sorts of things....cofig of ckeditor and IMCE, edit module settings, nothings working. I did resort to getting nicedit because i noticed it had a IMCE image on its toolbar, but of no help.

Hoping one of you gurus can put me out of my misery!

regards
assunta

I forgot to mention, when adding the image thorugh filtered html, it appears in the preview with a red box and white cross though it. I tired to play smart and just coppied the url into full html editor but I got the same red white cross box.

The question is referencing a contrib module. As such Drupal must already be installed. Thus, the question is better served in the 'post installation' forum. Please edit the opening post and move it. Thank you.

which tags are enabled on the limit html filter contained within the full html text format?

go to admin/config/content/formats
click 'configure' on the FULL HTML row
is 'Limit allowed HTML tags' checked?

scroll down to the bottom of the form
find: Allowed HTML tags
what tags are listed? is the img tag included?

you've followed steps 4 and 5 of https://www.drupal.org/node/1361042 under the heading 'Giving permissions for the CKEditor and IMCE modules' ?

Yes, all of the above done. I was missing one filed, with that completed now the browse icon to select and attach an image is present. However, when an image is selected, from my root folder or desktop, it doesnt have any height, width etc attributes and still comes up with the red and white cross.
I also tried testing it with a shortcut of a website image, anything random i could find, this doesnt work either.
