I already have a website.
I thought drupal manages
and monitors websites
on the technology side.
and make changes to obtain
SEO optimization.
Is drupa for me?

Hi @Maurice Jackson, Drupal is free and open source software that allows you to manage your website. I think a great option for you is to check out your local groups at http://groups.drupal.org/ so you can attend a meetup near you. The Ann Arbor group sometimes has meetups in Detroit. That way you can see what others are doing with Drupal.

As lizzjoy already said, drupal is software to create websites-- it's doesn't 'monitor' anything really. If you already have a website you're happy with, there's not much to do with Drupal then.

If you want to migrate your site to drupal, there's all sorts of SEO optimization you can do (including preserving your existing URL structure if you want).

I think you have a misunderstanding of Drupal. It is not such things as to monitor and optimize your existing website. Instead, it is a website builder and content manage system that is used to set up a website, manage your site, edit and publish your web content.

You are right, but maybe the way you choose is wrong
