First question is: I am looking for the best way to start a crowdfunding website.
I found for example https://www.drupal.org/project/crowdfunding which looks promising, but seems rather simple and also in alpha phase.
Is Community Accounting a more solid foundation for a crowdfunding website? Is it too bulky for that purpose?
If so, then second question: Is the current 8.x-4.x-dev (alpha) version of Community Accounting stable enough to create a crowdfunding platform that needs to be a production phase in about two months? (july 2015)
Third question: provides the 8.x-4.xdev good integration with drupal commerce?
Thanks

If you want production ready you probably need to go with Drupal 7 because of the lack of contrib.
Community Accounting can go a long way towards crowdfunding site, but you would have to do all the integration with payment gateways yourself - it is only accounting between wallets.
I can't vouch yet for the stability of Community Accounting 4.x. The core module is working pretty well, but the others are quite important!

It's a bit clunky and it is certainly not a full platform, but does handle the payment parts with stripe.
Mutual Credit is only for non-money accounting between members.
