I have developed a problem with my DRUPAL site: www.dhsclassof1975.com. The site has a label: First Name Field is Empty that appears on EVERY node I display in my drupal site. When I update any page, there is the following at the end of the page in CKEDITOR:

First Name Field is empty

. I delete it and save the page, it immediately comes back.

I also found that when I go to Reports, Available Updates, it displays the Available updates. If I click on Check Manually or run the CRON job I get the following ajax error Message:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 200 Debugging information follows. Path: /drupal/?q=batch&render=overlay&id=112&op=do StatusText: OK ResponseText: {"status":true,"percentage":"60","message":"Trying to check available update data ...\u003Cbr \/\u003EChecked available update data for \u003Cem class=\u0022placeholder\u0022\u003EContext\u003C\/em\u003E."}First Name Field is empty

My question is HOW CAN I DETERMINE WHERE this First Name Field is coming from? Where do they look for it and why does it appear ON EVERY PAGE? Where can I go in Drupal to update this?

I am using the Fusion Vibe Theme on my Drupal site. It is a sub-theme with Fusion core. I really need to know how I can find our where this field request was put into the theme or site. Anyone have any ideas on how to track it down? It is very frustrating to generate the error and see this on EVERY PAGE.

I have updated all my modules and drupal core to the latest Drupal 7.

What else can I do? Why do I get the AJAX Error?

Thanks for your help. Any ideas will be most welcome.

You haven't given enough information to debug the problem and I can't figure it out just from looking at the site. I kind of think that this is a problem from outside Drupal, like maybe your host is inserting the text. I'm basing that assumption partially off the fact that right before the error text is this: <a href="http://shield.securenet-server.net/consequent.cgi"></a>. Any idea what that's about?

The error text is actually the last thing in the HTML, placed after the closing </html> tag. That too is making me think that maybe this isn't being done by Drupal.

Anyway, you'll have to try and help debug what's going on. Switch the theme back to the D7 default, Bartik. I don't think it will help, so it will probably eliminate the theme as the cause.

Provide us with a list of the modules you have enabled. If you can, disable them one-by-one and see if the error disappears. Back up your database first.

Thank you for the quick response to this issue. I switched it to bartik and still see the First Name Field is empty at the bottom of the screen. Do notice the AJAX error shows up and ends with same error message: First Name Field is Empty. It is shows up on any node display.

Here is the code for a tester page. If I delete the

and

First Name Field is empty

from the page AND change the color to GREEN for the text, I still get a LARGE RED First Name Field is empty at bottom of screen. after the Powered by Drupal area in Bartik.

Page Link: http://www.dhsclassof1975.com/drupal/?q=node/19

Page Code:

Welcome To Durango High School Class of 1975

40th High School Reunion Page

Every time I save, it adds this error message to the code above at end. And it never seems to change when I change the font color, If I create a new basic page, it will show this at bottom of page .

If I display a non-node page, such as available updates, it is there at bottom of page. Only time I DON"T see it is when I display a page outside of Drupal folder. For example: http://www.dhsclassof1975.com/DHSOnlineRegistration.php If Drupal does not render the page, this does not come up.

I will try removing some modules and see if the error goes away with one of them. I can remove every module except required ones for drupal core and see what cause it to disappear. I'll try that. Any other thoughts are appreciated.

ISSUE RESOLVED !!!!!!!!!!!

I know this was something related to my combination of modules that I had active in Drupal. I did as suggested above and turned off all modules that were not essential. I did it in groups of two or three going backward. When I finished the error disappeared. Then I went in groups of two or three, checking them back on. It never came back.

So, I could not really pinpoint exactly what MODULE caused it. Seemed like clearing them all set something that affected it.

Only thing I notice now is that when I go to Available Updates and then click on Run Cron Link, screen goes to blank page with FIRST NAME Field is Empty error message, nothing happens! The Run Manually DOES Work. Before it gave me the ajax error.

I am not going to worry about that issue. I can run cron from my cpanel if needed.

Thanks for your suggestions. I am sorry it did not pinpoint it exactly. But I did get it corrected, so I have no Complaints!

Going to back up the database and go on to other things!

You don't need to apologize. At least you know that there is some module causing the error. If you ever have the issue again, you can try again to pinpoint the problem. Good luck to you!
