After update to lastest version (7.x-4.8) , webform no longer submits

Hi,

I recently updated to the latest version (7.x-4.8) before the update the forms worked well. However after the update the form no longer submits i simply get a pop-up stating "Please fill out this field" which appears at the top right of the screen. I have built another form and the same thing happens. I also no longer see blank fields highlighted in red when empty after submission, only select or email fields are highlighted.

I am not sure what the problem might be, I appreciate your assistance. Thank you.
