I've tried with both 2.0-beta-11 and 2.x-dev with the same result: all behaviors from "Argument Parser" on down are empty and cannot be expanded. This is happening with every type of map.

There is a jQuery error on some, but not all, of the maps type (so I assume it's not related to the problem, but in case I'm wrong):
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .error, #zoom=3&lat=0&lon=0&layers=B000

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'll try 3.x-dev next, but earlier I was having trouble getting it to display even the default map.

This message is part of the issue cleanup initiative.

Openlayers 2.x has been deprecated since the release of Openlayers 3.x the 31 December 2015.
If you want to stay on 2.x, you should try with the latest version of the 2.x release.

However, I strongly encourage you to move on version 3.
Version 3 is much more stable than version 2. It does not yet contain all the features but the main ones are there.
