I continue to be amazed at how many modules don't have a configuration link specified in their .info file.
Even this module didn't have it for a while: https://www.drupal.org/node/2209695
I wonder how hard it would be to search for the presence of hook_menu() in a .module file, and if it exists,
check for the configure line in the .info file. If it doesn't exist, an error should show up.
Could someone add this? Or point me in the right direction?

klausiCoder 7.x is frozen now and will not receive updates. Coder 8.x-2.x can be used to check code for any Drupal version, Coder 8.x-2.x also supports the phpcbf command to automatically fix conding standard errors. Please check if this issue is still relevant and reopen against that version if necessary.
