Google Maps Satellite Tiles [#2475837]

Hi,

in OL2, the Google Maps Satellite Tiles were readily available. In OL3 though, the only satellite tile I see is the ESRI one, which does not provide as much of a zoom level as compared to that Google Maps version. How do I add and enable the Google Maps satellite (Road & Hybrid) tiles in OL3?

Here is how, using the open layers 3 UI:

Click on the edit button next to the map name.
Then click on "Layers and Sources"
Scroll down to sources. Open the accordion if you have to.
Find the Google maps source for this map. Click "edit".
In there you will see a "Mapy Type" select box. Just choose SATELLITE in there and you are golden.
