Let's use this thread to capture ideas to make next year's FLDC even better...
I'll start with a few ideas:
- Have a volunteer (and a plan) dedicated to food and drink on Sunday.
- Provide bright color lanyards for folks that don't want their photo taken and published online.
- AV team should be three people with walkie-talkies, with one of them being Natalie.
- Rather than record session videos, provide clear instructions for presenters to record and upload their own sessions. Possibly also provide microphones (3.5mm lavaliere would be good) for presenters.
- Find a sponsor specifically for the screen recordings.

alexdmccabeThe website needs better organization - there were too many cooks in the kitchen.
A good start would be a defined lead dev that has the final say on technical decisions. A lot of the chat about the site was arguing alternative implementations for the same idea. That time could have been spent productively.
Having a PM couldn't hurt either.
(02:01:29 PM) bhosmer: Just for future reference, Robert Lazlo is active with the camp and is an awesome PM. You might hit him up and see if he would take on the task.

simplyshipley CreditAttribution: simplyshipley commentedI think there should be a better plan for setting the rooms back-up after the sessions are over on Saturday. Maybe you could print off a picture to post on the door of each room and have a list of where the extra tables and chairs need to go. We had lots of confusion trying to get the rooms back to normal.
