I believe the future of Drupal will be Bootstrap 3 developed by Twitter. http://getbootstrap.com/components/
This theme is a great start is is well worth the download. Once its installed you have the ability to utilize any of the user friendly options available by Bootstrap. (See link above)
Other projects (MODULES) that will assist you are:

I am very impressed with the Drupal community! Lets help these guys out by testing, reporting and helping when needed!!!

Documentation requests....

markhalliwellYou linked to an existing documentation handbook (which is also already on the project page). I fail to see what this issue is trying to accomplish. There is nothing left to do, specifically by this project.

Back From 7 CreditAttribution: Back From 7 commentedThere is no issue. I love this theme.
Trying to save other people time with all of the other relevant modules available.
Bootstrap is awesome
$vars['attributes']['class'][] = 'img-circle'; // can be 'img-rounded', 'img-circle', or 'img-thumbnail'

markhalliwellThis project has already linked to that handbook page on its project page (under the documentation section). That is what the handbook page (Bootstrap related modules) is for: letting people know about other modules that can enhance their experience with this base-theme.
Let who know, what? This issue queue is specifically for this project. The only person that you informed by opening this issue is me, the maintainer of this project. Sure, anyone that can search closed issues may find it, but this issue literally says what already exists on the project page: go to that handbook page.
What am I supposed to do with this issue?

markhalliwellI'm closing comments on this issue. There's nothing to be gained by constantly changing irrelevant metadata after I have explicitly said that this is not a valid issue for this project.
