I'm going to mark this as Postponed until we hear back from the search_api maintainers. I could definitely see an argument for trying to remove nodes from disabled servers because they'll return results for now deleted entities once they are "re-enabled". Maybe flushing indexes when a server is enabled is a good idea?

Sounds good for waiting, OA needs it so an update doesn't flood watchdog/updb with errors :P
