Hi. I'm only new to OA2, but have hit a hurdle at the start, so can't progress very far. I'm receiving an error when attempting to add a new section page. The error is "Space ID: this field cannot hold more than 1 values.". It looks to me that the "Space ID" is auto-generated, as I am unable to see the field.... Any ideas?

Argus CreditAttribution: Argus commentedAre you using the Sitemap to add Sections to a Space?
The way to add Sections to a Space is to use the menu ("Create new section").

Dougga CreditAttribution: Dougga commentedI'm running into the same problem.
I'm using the VM maintained by Bitnami found here: https://bitnami.com/stack/openatrium/virtual-machine.
I do not appear to have the same UI as you have shown above. The controls and graphics are slightly different.
Essentially, the option you describe above does not appear to be available to me.
The name of the space does not appear to the right of the home icon in the menu bar. Only the word "Spaces".
Further there is not a down arrow to the right of "Spaces".
It seems the only way I can create content is by clicking on the "Create Content" button from the main OA screen (accessed by clicking on the Open Atrium graphic in the extreme upper left of the web page). Here User sites are listed and if one clicks on one, one sees two options: 1) +New SubSpace and 2) +New Section.
Clicking on + New Section will start a 3-page entry form that concludes by throwing the error this thread is about.
"Space ID: this field cannot hold ore than 1 value." I might add that at no point was I asked to enter the Space ID so this appears to be a bug in Open Atrium at a pretty basic level.
My initial take is that there are too many features to be manageable given the current UI. I have 20 years experience in enterprise software but I can't make heads or tails out of Open Atrium. The introductory webinar was an hour long discussion of lots of discreet features but I can find nothing putting this solution into context that clarifies this UI.

mpotter CreditAttribution: mpotter commentedBefore you create your first space, the UI will just show a Home button followed by the word "Spaces. There should be a drop-down arrow to the right of the Home button that allows you to create a new space.
The "Create Content" button takes you to the Sitemap Wizard that helps you create spaces more graphically.
I still cannot reproduce any error about "Space ID cannot hold more than 1 value" even using the New Section button on the Site map. So this still tells me that something wrong happened during your install, or there is something in your VM that isn't configured properly.
You can spin up Open Atrium for free at www.getpantheon.com/openatrium which takes only 5 minutes and will give you a clean install of the latest 2.41 version if you wish to better evaluate it.

Dougga CreditAttribution: Dougga commentedI'll reach out to Bitnami and explain the problem. If there are team members with bandwidth, I'd recommend providing them with a VM properly configured or advice with the current instance.
Thanks for your input.
I don't have stats as to the utilization of Bitnami, but it appears that two of us are seeing exactly the same error. I'll assume for now that the original user is not using a Bitnami VM. This bug (if it is a big) appears to render the Open Atrium solution useless. Given multiple users are seeing it and it is found in a VM, troubleshooting should be trivial - for an OA architect. It might be worth having someone look into the root cause of the errors produced on the above linked VM. You'd at least get a feel for how big of a problem the issue is.
Thanks,
D

mpotter CreditAttribution: mpotter commentedDefinitely post if you get more info on this. But we test Atrium extensively on both internal servers, local Mac dev machines, Pantheon cloud hosting, Aquia cloud hosting, and often on OpenShift (Redhat cloud). So it's definitely not a "common" issue. Point them at the system requirements mentioned on the main openatrium project page.
