I tried installing the module but I get a fatal error, "Unknown table 'session_variables' in information_schema". Is there a minimum version of MySQL required? Or is this due to some other requirement not being met?

Our MySQL server version is 5.0.95.

Thanks for the heads up. I've made the requirements for this module at MySQL 5.5

Hmm, it seems to be working for me without this error even though I am using MySQL 5.1. I do get the new message on the system report page, but no errors otherwise.

I've had intermittent success with MySQL 5.1 and total success with MySQL 5.5. I can create a setting so the status report warning can be disabled.
