Is it currently possible to tell Megarow to pull up a specific view mode in a megarow? E.g., Full content vs Default vs a custom view mode.

The use case for me would be, I could create multiple Event view displays (using a single content type) and target specific view modes in each view display's megarow, thereby having a greater amount of control over what shows up in the respective megarows.

Well you can do whatever you want, you just need to extend the module. Out of the box, it's not possible but the toolbox is here for you to do it if you want. ;-)
