I've installed Simplenews and Simplenews statistics. Simplenews works fine, but after sending, I get no statistics. It shows Opens: 0 (0%), and of course no CTR. I know from the website stats a lot of people must have opened the newsletter.
Everything seems to be fine, all dependencies are in place, but no data show.
Is there something I forgot?
I joined a list of modules and the stats.
If you need more information, please inform.

dieuweThe 2.x branch hasn't had much testing, I've only had one or two claims that it works. Please review this issue here: #2353501: Several error noticies with simplenews 7.x-2.x-dev.
Can you also check your logs for any errors?

LukM CreditAttribution: LukM commentedHi Dieuwe,
Tx for the quick reply.
I use 7.x-1.1 version of Simplenews, and Simplenews Statistics 7.x-1.0-alpha1+7-dev. Should I use another one?
I can't find a 7.x-2 branch of either?

dieuweNo, that's fine. Just correcting the version for the bug report.
Have you got anything in your logs relating to simplenews_statistics or php errors that relate to simplenews_statistics?
Also, you could try disabling some of the add-on modules to see if they are causing the problem. Please note that changing the encoder once you have send a newsletter will break all the links in that newsletter.

LukM CreditAttribution: LukM commentedI have indeed a message stating 'Simplenews statistics click called with illegal parameter(s).'
Details in attachment.
I set parameter encoding type to MD5 hash encoding style. Is that correct ?
Do you know of certain modules that might collide with simplenews?

xool CreditAttribution: xool commentedI have the same issue.
It works as such:
Anonymous users:
The redirection also always leads to the main page of my website and not the intended destination.
Admin:
It works just fine.
Changing "Parameter encoding type" at admin/config/services/simplenews/statistics/encoder to "none" solves the issue for anonymous users.
