Currently we have three default layouts: Single column, Two column, Three column.
Write the comment or follow if you need more Default layouts.
I'l implement it if a lot of people need it.

Why not have all the layouts from other contrib modules included?

Hey, which exactly contrib modules do you mean? Layouts from Panels and DS are included, tell me which additional modules do you want I will see If it makes sense to include them.

Ds is included in dev version, it will be included to stable version when I will get some feedback if it works correctly. You can test it and write your results

It's mostly working, but strangely, I had issues with the 66/33 layouts..
