[META] the Like Box plugin deprecated - stop working on June 23rd 2015

I implemented the new FB Page Plugin that will replace the Like Box.
I am working on a patch, or should I create a new branch (7.x-2.x) or create a new project instead?

Yesterday I created the new 7.x-2.x branch and implemented the new FB Page Plugin. I also made a dev release so everyone can test and use it.
(For some reason I was not able to submit a new post here, so I post it now)

This is great news, Edward, thanks so much! I am going to create some tasks with the priorities we have just discussed via e-mail.

I did a quick install of the 2.x branch.
So far it seems to work perfectly and exactly like with the like box plugin: configuration works the same, output seems to work with the new Facebook Page Plugin script.

(I have NOT tested the module code)

about configuration:
Is that minimum width of 280px a requirement from Facebook?

also, shouldn't this new module be called fb_pageplugin ? :)

The minimum and maximum pixel width are indeed requirements from Facebook. (See: Page Plugin documentation )
