v1 and v2 of the Google Calendar API were shut down by Google on Nov. 17, 2014.

Google Calendar block needs to support v3 of the API in order to start functioning again.

A patch to add support for v3 of the Google Calendar API through the use of the new Google API PHP Client.

Unfortunately, with the library switch and API rewrite it will be impossible to include an upgrade path.
