In my View I selected to show a Field extracted from entity reference. While the format of the View is set to Unordered list, the referenced field shows correctly as latitude/longitude. My goal was to display the referenced field as point on a Geofield Map, however when selecting the Geofield Map Format instead of Unordered list, nothing shows up on the page and under the Format Settings "Page:Style options" in the View I get the message: "Please add at least 1 geofield to the view". Is it at all possible to show geodata through a referenced field on a Geofield Map?

Although there are several choices of referenced fields offered by the "Fields -> Add" option in Views, non of them worked. My issue was solved adding a relationship (also had to check check-box required relationship to make it work) under "Advanced -> RELATIONSHIPS" to "Entity Reference: yourfieldname:target_id" and then selecting the appropriate field under "Fields -> Add" I chose "yourentityname entity referenced from yourfieldname".
