When i click on the editor's help button in chilliproject,
I get a help window with a section on how to add links:
Something like that should be in our editor help too:
how to add [#issue_number] and [#issue_n-comment-m]
i just searched for the latter waaay too long.
PS:
No idea which version runs on D.O. ... some 7.x i guess...
PPS:
Even better would be a JS filter that changes D.O. issue url's directly upon pasting or submit at least.

sirtetAh i had seen this page before, but did not notice the text formats link this time...
The title of the linked document is much better, Compose tips, not sure if the link could be changed to that...
Moving the link up to the buttons would still make sense to me, but that's maybe abit complicated to do?
A small tweak could be to move the link's icon, moving the link left wouldn't help much i think:
