Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
There are multiple, confusing and conflicting locations for changing one's newsletter subscriptions:
- Mailchimp signup form: http://drupalcon.us2.list-manage1.com/subscribe/?u=618af7a460cf93cf21123...
This lists the following newsletters:- Drupal Weekly Newsletter (coming soon)
- Drupal Association News
- DrupalCon News
- Special Offers from Drupal Supporters (coming soon)
- Information for Drupal Service Providers
- Educational Opportunities from the Drupal Association
- News for Community Organizers
- The main d.o user profile edit form, which has the exact same options as Mailchimp.
- The "My newsletters" tab on the d.o user profile, which lists the following:
- Security announcements
- Maintainer news
The two newsletters from the "my newsletters" list need to be moved to the main list, or the main list needs to be moved to that tab, either which way all of the newsletters should be available from one list.

joshuamiWe are migrating all of our newsletters to Mailchimp. Security and the maintainer list require a bit more prework before we migrate them, but we wanted to get the the rest of the newsletters in place so we could relaunch the Drupal Newsletter this week.
For the newsletters on Mailchimp, you can subscribe or unsubscribe through your user profile or the MailChimp.
I'm tagging this issue. When Security and maintainer newsletters have been migrated, I'll close this out. For those interested in knowing about this work, following this issue will be a handy way to keep up to date.

if that will be a while, maybe we can add a note to https://www.drupal.org/user/NNNNN/edit/newsletter saying to go to https://www.drupal.org/user/NNNNN/edit to find more newsletters?

DamienMcKennaThanks for the update, joshuami!

jhodgdonIn the meantime, would it be possible to move the user profile section for "Subscribe" to the "My newsletters" tab, or else to move what's currently on "My newsletters" to just below/above "Subscribe" on the main Edit tab? Today I received one of the mailchimp newsletters and wanted to unsubscribe, and it said in there "Go to your user profile to manage subscriptions". I clicked on "My newsletters" (since this is definitely a newsletter) and it wasn't there. Very confusing!

drummActually, I'll be reverting moving the MailChimp field up above the vertical tabs. That also moved the signature settings, which don't have a way to be positioned in admin/config/people/accounts/fields, straight to the top.

drummNow the My newsletters page has a message:
