Does Address Field module scale? This article from 2013 suggests it doesn't [#2454361]

Does any maintainer knows if the issues described in this article from 2013 were addressed (taken care of) in later versions?

The article is from 2013 so odds are it's worth revisiting the issues raised there.

Fortunately almost everything mentioned in the article includes a link to the relevant Drupal.org issue, except for a couple of items (for those you might search the issue queues, and then if you find your site is still affected by what's discussed there perhaps create additional issues).

Here are the issues linked from that article anyway - hopefully these will answer your question. If not, time to do some road-testing!

Thank you @xurizaemon for the answer. I've chosen the module anyway (after some research against Location module) and I'll do a more extensive research on mentioned issues after project first steps (road-testing).
