When selecting multiple variables in the "Not Tracking" section (e.g. for Permission or Variable (strongarm) and submitting via the "Start Tracking" button at the bottom only a white screen comes up, and the selected variables or not added to the tracked selection.
This also happens when just selecting 1 variable and using the button at the bottom (but that's not really an issue). Happens in alpha as well.

enabling the Profile module fixed the problem, it seems the tables profile_field and profile_value are needed even if the are not used (still works after disabling Profile again)
