Is there a way I can choose 'n' number of questions from the core Question bank

Hi,
I have a quiz, with 'Random questions' option enabled, where I would like to add 'n' number of questions from the already existing question bank. Right now it asks me to push the questions from the question bank to the quiz I created, and then pull 'n' number of questions from it. Instead I would like to add 'n' number of questions directly from the question bank that comes with quiz core module.
