When using Open Atrium Discussions it would be nice to be able to unsubscribe from specific threads.
We found no way to get this behaviour using either "pull" or "push" style notifications.
Ideally one could override the subscription to a parent by unsubscribing from a child node.
Right now it is possible to subscribe to a child and it's parent independently, which is technically clean, but does not make much sense from a user standpoint.
Or are we missing something?

mpotter CreditAttribution: mpotter commentedThe Subscribe button for "pull notifications" changes to an Unsubscribe button once you have subscribed. So just click that to remove yourself from the pull notification list of a discussion.
The button on the discussion thread always affects the parent, not the children, so the fact that it is showing a separate flag for children is actually a bug that I'll add to the backlog. The main Notification widget always affects the parent topic, but the subscribe button seems to be associated with the child. This will likely be fixed automatically in v2.4x when we change replies into normal Drupal comments.
To remove from "push notifications" you need to remove yourself from the detailed notification widget list. If you are not listed specifically by name and are being notified as part of a team or group then you cannot remove this. If you don't have edit access to the notification widget then you cannot change this. Typically the author of the discussion or other team members of the space are the ones who determine who to send push notifications to.
