Doesn't work with page manager and panels

Hello, i used to use display suite togheter with page manager and panels in the past, for example putting inside a pane "entity/rendered content" or "node/node content", and, if the that content type had a customized layout made with display suit, it showed correctly inside the pane.

Since then i stopped using this method and both display suite and panels modules have been updated.

Now, when i put a content type inside a pane, the display suite layout doesn't render, it seems disabled.

Is this a bug as i belive or am i doing something wrong?
