When i go install a module it shows me a form with:

WARNING: You are not using an encrypted connection, so your password will be sent in plain text.

and when i put password and user name it shows me :

Failed to connect to the server. The server reports the following message:
Cannot connect to FTP Server, check settings

and you are sure you are using the correct FTP username and FTP password? note: NOT drupal username and password.
