I'm not sure if this feature request is feasable, but it will be really nice, to clean up website of unused modules.
I imagine 1 new checkbox to group modules by "main modules"
ex: we would see only Views and not Views UI
If this checkbox "Group by main module" is checked and the actual filter "enabled" is also checked, it will list "main modules" enabled only if 1 or more of their sub-modules is enabled.
If this checkbox "Group by main module" is checked and the actual filter "disabled" is also checked, it will list "main modules" disabled only if all their sub-modules are disabled.

I'm keeping an eye on the 7.x branch of this module, reviews and majors, but active work is going toward 4.x (supporting D10)
If valid for 4.x please reopen
