Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
As of yesterday, I cannot get the Available Updates page to list any updates. It says "failed to get available update data" for all modules.
Researching online, I tried clearing the cache, truncating the cache_update table, increasing the fetch timeout, and even restoring a backed-up database. Nothing makes any difference.
The log shows
HTTP error -10060 occurred when trying to check http://ftp.drupal.org/files/translations/7.x/
for every module.
Disabling modules made no difference. I also uninstalled modules that were not in use.
Anything I'm missing here?

dcam CreditAttribution: dcam commentedI'm sorry, but it's best if you go to https://www.drupal.org/support and look for other support options. IRC or the Support Forum are better. The core issue queue is not the best place to get support. That category of issue is mostly for contributed module queues. Very few people try to provide support here in the core queue. It's mostly used by developers looking to add features to Drupal or fix bugs.
