I have 2 view block displays. One display flagged nodes and other display flagged taxonomies. I need to print latest 8 flagged contents (nodes + taxonomy) in a single display sorted by title or tern name ascending order.

You can't list two types of entity in a single View. The only way to do that is to start with a different base, and then use relationships.

So here you could start with a Flagging base. However, IIRC there is no relationship from Flagging to the flagged entity -- there is an issue where I started work, but I think I ran into trouble.
