When cloning a site template it doesn't end up cloning the variant, it leads to editing the original one.

Unable to reproduce this on a barebones install of the latest -dev releases of the modules, but it still fails on an active site using the same module versions.

I can't clone variant with Panels after update to dev version ctools & panels... May it be a ctools bug?
