My client just called to complain that a bunch of reservations placed in January are now missing from the calendar and subsequently another reservation was made for the same dates so they are double booked.

I ran two reports, one from commerce orders and the other from bookings and matched up the order numbers. There are 22 orders placed and show as "completed" however, there is no corresponding booking # nor do they show up in the calendar. The interesting thing is that all the orders were placed between 1/12/2015 and 1/19/2015. Everything before this date and after are showing both an order # and Booking # and are in the calendar.

My client claims he did see the missing reservations on the bookings calendar at one time. I have no way to prove or disprove this claim.

So the order/reservation was placed on the site, transferred to PayPal and collected payment, and came back and marked the order as complete. But the actual reservation did not take place in the bookings calendar.

I'm at a total loss as to what would cause this to happen. Any help would be appreciated.

The site is on Rooms 7.x-1.3+17-dev

I was hoping to get some assistance on this issue. Is there any log reports I could look at that would specifically show when a reservation was made on a unit, show the name of the person and then show when/if it was changed to another name?

Hi Dorys,

really sorry to hear about this issue - have you seen it since, or do you know of a way to reproduce it with the latest codebase? There have been several improvements since Rooms 1.3. The rooms_booking_manager module sends messages to the standard drupal log when unit availability has been updated, or if an update failed - if you filter by that module, you should be able to see a little more information.

thanks,
Adrian
