I couldn't figure out, how show a menu, where the current page is shown in the menu tree.

Is this possible?

I think you can do it with the http://drupal.org/project/menu_block that it is included in the distribution.

Thanks for the hint. I can't create a menu bock in OA, I always get the error: "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator."

Ok, seemed to be a theme issue. After switching the admin theme to seven, I could manage to create a menu block.

It is always collapsed. Is there a way to expand currently active path?

In the advanced options, Expand all children of this tree.

If advanced options doesn't work, as reported in #2093265: Menu Block Module in Open Atrium 2.31 (please, report there if you have the problem), use Firebug or similar program to make them visible through CSS and select the option.

It seems to be related to the Open Atrium Radix theme. If switch to the theme to Bartik, the menu is shown correctly:
