Hi,

I have a theme(stability) installed in my instance .It provides the shortcodes that can be added to the body of the content type.

I need to display contents using a view, but how to incorporate the field which utilizes the short code (say for an icon ).

Short code doesn't seem to work by adding it in the template file directly.

Any possible solution?

Look at your theme documentation or the theme issues. I cannot find it on d.o.

The short codes are a function of the theme and not Drupal. I would not expect them to work in a template and how well they function in views will depend on the theme
