I am using Commerce Kickstart and I have attached a phone number field as well as a couple of marketing questions to the billing information customer profile, so that additional information can be captured during checkout.

This approach is often recommended by Ryan and I have found it to work well. With Commerce Backup Office, this information is then shown beneath the billing address in the quick edit view, as well as editable fields in the order edit view. Neat!

I have recently enabled Commerce Billy pdf invoices and find that the phone number and marketing question answers show up in the billing address. No great surprise there, but not ideal especially if the invoice is to be put in a window envelope and posted. No problem, because customer profiles allow different view modes including those for administration and customers, it is therefore possible to hide these additional fields in the customer view mode and once this is done, only the billing address is shown on the invoices. Great.

However, this view mode setting appears to cascade down to the quick edit view of Commerce Back Office, meaning that this important information is no longer displayed, unless the full edit display is chosen.

It would appear that Commerce Back Office is applying the customer view mode instead of the administration view mode to the billing and shipping address displays.

Is this a bug or am I missing a display setting somewhere. Any pointers much appreciated.
