After installing on fresh Drupal, if you choose "image_hotspot_default" as the "Preview image style" in the image field's configuration, it'll appear to work. But if you ever change to another Image Style, it'll break the link to the image and you can't simply revert back.

Hello! Thank you for your report.

I tried to reproduce the bug but to me all work normal. I'm trying to various image-style in widget and formater. Also I saved a nodes with different hotspots and without it. I'm not shure, that I don't overlook somethink. Maybe I missing something.
Please, give me more information about steps to reproduce it.
Also I would to know:
Have you got some Drupal error messages, when image link had been broken?
Can you show an example of broken link path?
Do I need to create hotspots and save node to detect error, or a problem only with image-style on any fields which use it?

Hope, with your answers I can't reproduce the bug.
