Info File Clutter...

I already know better than to ask if anyone is aware of this as I did a Google search for "drupal backup and migrate info files" and found many results dating all the way back to the early 2000s about it. In all of those, someone would always claim that it was fixed in a dev version. It's 2015 and, well, using default settings, I'm now seeing these files clutter my private folder locations.

Has a solution been applied to B&M via a patch file? Otherwise, I guess I'll be forced to write a Bash file to remove them all based on the condition that each *.info file maintains a datestamp correlation to a sibling *.gz file...

Any insight to this would be great.
