Just wanted to second that I'm also getting this bug on a fresh D8-beta.9 install.

Fatal error: Cannot access protected property Drupal\Core\Entity\Entity\EntityViewDisplay::$targetEntityType in /var/www/drupal8/modules/field_group/field_group.module on line 143

I also got a similar error when viewing the /contact page
