Upgrading the media module to 7.x-1.4 does not show Wysiwyg Configurations in Media Browser Settings.

So looks like I am actually trying to downgrade from 7.x-2.0-unstable6+29-dev to 7.x-1.4 thanks

There is no safe way of downgrading a Drupal module. You could uninstall and reinstall 7.x-1.x though you would have data/setting loss as normal when uninstalling modules.

  • Make a backup!
  • uninstall media 7.x-2.x (make sure you have media and file_entity 7.x-2.x) on your system.
  • Remove media and file_entity module from file system
  • Download media 7.x-1.x and install as usual.
