Hi All,

My Name is Samyak Veera.

I am working for a financial company and I want to upgrade Drupal 6. x to Drupal 7.x. My daughter is also learning a new version of Drupal. I am not familiar with this technology but just trying to upgrade by myself instead to go to support team.

I heard about the Drush site-upgrade command supports upgrades from Drupal 6.x to Drupal 7.x.
Do you have any video link of complete tutorial? If you will provide me Site-upgrade Commands I will try it in better way.

Your suggestions are valuable for me.

Waiting for your prompt reply.

Samyak Veera.

Ok, but that has nothing to do with the topic you are posting about, so you don't need to put your name into the thread title. Imagine if we all did that.

Please edit the thread and remove your name from the thread title.

I do not believe there is such a video. I have never seen one, and a careful search failed to find one.

As you may be aware, a Drupal 6 to 7 is often a major and stressful job, with or without drush. My last one took me around 40 hours, and I was not a beginner. Best of luck!

Hi Jaypan

I have removed the name from post title. I put that because members can know me easily and reply back sooner. But after your suggestion I think it is not good.

Thanks

Thank you Samyak.

Thread titles are important, as they are what comes up when users are searching for solutions. Having your name in the title clutters the search results, and can make it harder for users to find what they are looking for. So thank you for your edit, as the thread title is more accurate now.
