I recently ran into an issue of the implementation of inline entity in commerce coupon. An administrative user could go to create a discount, click "add coupon" in the module to bring up the inline entity form, and then go all the way down to "save discount" without actually saving the inline entity form.

It seems to me that it might be useful to have the user prompted before submission to verify that they have left an incompleted inline entity form, and can continue, or cancel to go back and make sure it is submitted properly. Similiar to the "are you sure you want to leave this page?" prompts.

Due to limited developer time old feature requests for IEF are being closed. If you still have a need for this functionality, then you may feel free to reopen the issue. But please note that if you are still using Drupal 7 and would like for this functionality to be added to the D7-compatible version of IEF, then our limited resources and lack of interest may prevent that from ever happening.
