I have the Erpal Time Tracker android installed. I can view projects and tasks. I can begin to track time with the android app, but when I go to upload I get an error.

I've taken an android logcat of the process and this error is a red flag.

"E/de.brightsolutions.erpaltimetracker(17811): Time tracking was not added to the server. Response is: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error: An error occurred (0): Invalid data value given. Be sure it matches the required data type and format."

I then tried various date configurations of erpal in my site but still get the error.

Does anyone have this app working? If so what are your date configurations?

I have tried a completely new fresh install of Erpal for service providers, and the android app still gives errors.

I changed the status of this ticket from support request to bug report.

I've tried contacting info@brightsolutions.de and had no reply in over a week.

Thanks for reporting! I had this issue myself a few days ago with one time tracking, but cannot really reproduce it now.

The problem seems to occur if there is something wrong with the associated task. So I could definitely reproduce the error when deleting the task in Erpal and then uploading a time tracking for that task. But as I said, I has this issue with an existent task as well.

Could you check that the tasks for which you upload time trackings are fine? It would be helpful if you could give me more details on your setup, e.g. Android version, etc. Feel free to contact me!

Thank you for your reply. I created a fresh project titled "app test" and new task of "receive time track from app". I don't see any input errors in the task. When I open the task in the android app, I notice the due date is wrong. No matter what my date config settings are, it's always the same date.

I'm using a samsung galaxy note 3 on android ver 4.4.2. The erpal app is version 1.0.3

See screen shots.

Thanks for the info!

Did you try the Erpal Demo login? When you logout you can choose to login to the
Erpal Demo. If the upload works on the Demo, there is probably some issue
with your Erpal installation. If not, the problem is on the Android side.
Let me know when you tried it.
