If you create a new node, attach an image, then create a link to that image in the page, when you save the node for the first time Linkchecker creates a broken link report.

If you create the node, attach the image, and then save the node *before* putting the link to the image in the page, then no broken link is reported.

I think I'm doing this very often and I never experienced this. I guess you are using any strange behaving filters.

We tried to reproduce this again yesterday and cannot, so whatever was upsetting it has gone.
