Hello,

we facing a problem with Eastern Europe special characters problem. When we used for example DejaVu font , PDF is generated and everything works as expected.

When we use our own font, some characters as "č, ů, ..." missing (there is a ? character instead).
Could you be so kind to help us where can be a problem?

We generate fonts thorugh http://www.xml-convert.com/en/convert-tff-font-to-afm-pfa-fpdf-tcpdf

Is it possible to check if the font contains above special characters?

Regards,

Michal

I can confirm those two characters are rendering as ? in the default Helvetica font. Other accented (western?) characters such as ü, À work fine. I can't tell if this is a problem with the font, TCPDF, or Views PDF.

But you say the characters work fine when using dejaVu font? If that's the case, the problem is likely with the fonts. If the original fonts you're converting have those characters, then maybe the problem is with xml-convert.com.

What to do with this issue? Font issue or Module issue?

I just tested it with dejaVu font and it works. So it's not the module. It must be the font.
