Hi,

I was building image banner slider with text, small image and link on the banners using views slide show module but I found another module for the same bean and beanslide.

I checked beanslide also. I can some that it creates its own entity type. But what is the actual difference using these both and which one is better to use.

Please provide your valuable suggestions.

Bean Slide is still in alpha so it should not be used on a production site.

Views Slideshow is a mature project with a recommended release so it is the better option.

In the past I have used the Bean module to make working with blocks easier for my site admins. I don't expect them to work with blocks or views, an entity is so much nicer. Bean creates a block entity type so it can really help with that.
